Treehouse with reclaimed cladding

Flooring Projetct 21 - Hampshire, Perigord Treehouse

Set in tumbling, unspoiled surroundings, Wild Escapes offers the perfect sanctuary and retreat. The Main Company had the pleasure of working with Wild Escapes on a number of their stunning tree houses, helping to bring their visions to fruition. Sustainability was key, and the values and passion of Wild Escapes aligned perfectly with our own.

Fullerton Farm is home to the first four tree houses, offering an idyllic experience and outstanding views of the Hampshire downs. The Perigord Tree house offers Scandinavian style living space, with cladding and wooden flooring throughout, as well as other natural textures and materials and contrasting black accents.

The Perigord Tree house offers the perfect relaxing place to unwind and sample all that Fullerton Farm has to offer, from sampling the delights of the vineyard to truffle hunting, there’s so many activities to enjoy, as well as the surrounding views. The tree house offers a luxurious space to unwind and de-stress, and the interiors further enhance that experience.

Comprising of a stylish living space, bedroom and bathroom the tree house has been finished using our Reclaimed Old White Mill board, this has been used for wall and ceiling cladding, as well as the flooring.

Our Reclaimed Old White Mill Board works perfectly with the outside space and provides an organic and sustainable option. The Old White Mill Board has been further complemented by other natural materials such as rope and metal, as well as on-trend rattan furniture.

Our Old White Mill Board is ideal for creating a light and airy environment. Reclaimed from Northern Roof Spars, the planks have been beautifully weathered enhancing the patina of the wood. The weathered boards were the perfect option for an outdoor tree house, creating the impression of a lived in, raw and natural space. The washed white surface is complemented by earthy and cool tones and creates a desirable texture. Each and every plank of wood is hand dried in our on-site kiln before being meticulously handcrafted, enhancing the planks, bringing out knots and creating a long-lasting surface. The planks have a natural finish and will get better with age, as well as providing a durable surface for the guests at Fullerton Farm.
