Kitchen Storage: Bespoke Drawer Inserts

Bespoke drawer inserts are a key element to any hardworking and well designed kitchen. When it comes to kitchen storage we can often overlook simple inserts that make a big difference in the day to day running of your busy kitchen. We’ve collated a number of of drawer inserts from our previous bespoke kitchen projects to give you some inspiration.

Cutlery & Utensil Inserts

The most requested insert we design and manufacture has to be our bespoke cutlery and utensil inserts. They are always custom made to fit your drawers perfectly, keeping everything tidy and organised. Made from solid oak, the inserts can be configured to any specific dimensions that you are working too. From teaspoons to ladles, our designers will make sure it fits.

Knife Block Insert

Our knife drawer inserts keep knives neat and tidy in one place and off the work surface and out of reach of little ones! Often positioned at the heart of the kitchen, your knives are to hand when preparing food at the island or the cooking run opposite. For cooks, a kitchen knife drawer is the ultimate simple storage solution. Space and layout dependent, the knife block insert can be designed with our cutlery and utensil inserts too. Food prep never got so easy!

Drawer in Drawer

Although it may sound odd, a drawer in drawer is a popular way to maximise storage in your deeper pan drawers. This simple drawer box can slide left and right to access items below. Customers have used this additional storage for anything from spices to bin bags. We’ve also made certain ones removable so that you can place on the countertop during prep and replace once the hard work is complete!

Wine Bottle Insert

The insert guaranteed to draw attention is our wine bottle insert. Those with larger islands often have unused space in the centre. We decided to take advantage of this wasted space by designing extra long drawers enabling a bespoke wine bottle insert. The simple oak strips have been chamfered so that the wine bottle comfortably nestles in place.

Tall Bottle Divider

Bending down and reaching for the oil could be a thing of the past with our tall bottled divider. With a similar construction and design process as the cutlery and utensil inserts, the tall bottle divide allows taller loose bottles and items to be placed in a deep pan drawer without falling over. Ofter positioned next to a range cooker or hob, this then gives quick access to the essentials.

Our drawer dowel plate dividers are easily adjusted to suit any sized pan drawer. Keeping all your crockery secure and in position you’ll be sure to keep them chip free. A simple but stylish drawer insert, the dowel plate dividers are manufactured from light solid beech. Another insert to make the best use of your kitchen drawer space.
