For this stunning space our Old Theatre Oak provided the perfect base. A truly beautiful oak, this flooring works perfectly with the surrounding interiors. The cool colour tones of the oak blend seamlessly with the exposed stonework, concrete and black accents used throughout the property. The flooring runs from room to room, tying the rooms together perfectly.
Our Old Theatre Oak offers a rustic and weathered appearance, creating more of a relaxed and effortless feel than some other options. Salvaged from old theatres as the name suggests, the planks have been hand aged at our family-run Yorkshire workshop, enhancing the natural beauty, marks and attritions of the oak. The planks have been further enhanced using a brushed paint effect, creating this wonderful finish. Each plank is unique, with its own grain and knots and as with all of our wood there’s limited quantities available.
Engineered wood is perfect for areas like hallways and living spaces as it is naturally hardwearing, with planks like our Old Theatre Oak they age wonderfully, adding to the charm and character. Our flooring is also compatible with under floor heating, which can be useful in large and open spaces.
