Step on in to our new London showroom. Opened in 2020, our London showroom encapsulates our love of rustic and raw materials, something that is apparent from the moment you step inside. A wonderful collection of everything we are passionate about, the showroom showcases all of the services that we offer here at The Main Company. From bespoke furniture to our highly regarded kitchens.
When it came to planning the showroom, we obviously wanted to show off all the skills and talents of our master craftsmen. From sourcing the highest of quality materials to handcrafting each and every element, we are delighted with the finished result.
For the showroom flooring, it was important that we selected something that was not only durable to cope with the footfall, but complemented all the different areas of the showroom. Within the space we have an office area, kitchen space and pantry space, so it had to work within each section. The showroom has a rustic, warm and industrial feel to it, and we chose two flooring options, our brand new cobble design in Weathered Barn Brick and a random width Weathered Barn Oak.
Our cobble design was used in the entrance area and comes in shorter planks, giving a stylish twist on the normal full-length planks. Our Weathered Barn Brick adds plenty of warmth and character to the space, creating a wonderful first impression for anybody stepping in to the showroom. The planks have been hand-finished, creating a durable surface that can withstand the wear and tear an entrance area is exposed to.
For the remainder of the showroom, we used our popular Weathered Barn Oak. This is a firm favourite at The Main Company. Salvaged from European barns, our Weathered Barn Oak has been painstakingly restored, enhancing the natural weathering of each plank. The attrition of the sun, rain and wind has created a stunning silver tint, something that works beautifully with the surroundings. Dried in our on-site Yorkshire kiln, the planks have been finished to create a product that will not only be durable, but improve with age too.
The Main Company is one of a few UK businesses to offer truly bespoke flooring for both residential and commercial properties. Our comprehensive collection comprises of rich, deep hues and cooler, grey tones. From rustic pine to clean oak, we have the perfect shade for your space. Not only has our flooring been used throughout homes across the UK, it’s also been used in a variety of commercial properties including restaurants and hotels…and now our London showroom!
