Blue kitchen cabinets in l configuration on oak parquet flooring

Bespoke Kitchen Project 14 - Rushmere

Located in the Rushmere suburb of Northampton, this beautiful property has been vastly improved by the current owners. The extended 1930s family semi has been painstakingly improved, adding further bedrooms, improving the back aesthetic and changing the kitchen, to name just a few of the improvements. The Main Company had been recommended to the homeowners by a friend, and the rest was history.

Combining a traditional shaker style kitchen with on-trend warm copper accents and textured wood, the Rushmere kitchen projects updates classic influences with a design that perfectly embraces modern lifestyles in the kitchen.

A complete renovation of the space allowed for a contemporary redesign with rich, dark blue painted cabinets, enhanced by polished copper handles and an aged copper mirror splash back. A sleek Carrara Marble has been used for the work surfaces and creates a wonderful contrast to the hand aged wooden breakfast bar, carefully positioned within the open-plan space to provide the ideal spot for entertaining or socialising as a family.

The bespoke cabinets were made at our Yorkshire workshop and painted using the Little Greene shade, Basalt. Throughout the kitchen there are a number of luxurious features such as a Kholer industrial double stainless-steel sink and built in drawer inserts, perfect for organising. The Boen oiled oak, engineered parquet flooring ties the space together perfectly, creating a decadent yet modern space.

This light and airy space benefits from a sky light and adjoining open-plan living space, creating a room perfect for all the family to enjoy. The Main Company were proud to be part of this project, and we love the end result. The modern twist to a classic style has been perfectly executed, using the highest of quality kitchen that will stand the test of time. All of our kitchens are created bespoke to our customers requirements at our workshop in the heart of Yorkshire. At The Main Company, we use the finest quality new, salvaged and reclaimed materials, creating highly desirable kitchens and interiors. Get in touch to see how we can help you transform your space.
