Set in the picturesque city of Bath, filled with history and heritage, The Main Company completed the transformation of this stunning townhouse kitchen.
The clients had expressed their love for the characterful pieces of reclaimed wood in The Main Company’s showroom, and wanted to recreate this look and feel in their home.
The high Victorian ceilings exemplify the beauty of this kitchen – a perfect opportunity for The Main Company to combine tradition and contemporary. The space is flooded with natural light, highlighting the subtle tones of the marble designed tiles.
The bright space allowed the opportunity for the choice of a darker oak for certain features, highlighting the rustic traces of the wood. The aged-oak charmingly contrasts with the contemporary kitchen units, painted a light chromatic grey. The space was successfully transformed into a sophisticated townhouse kitchen that flawlessly balances the old and the new.
The Main Company’s bespoke joinery formed the curved and linear doors, worktops, doors and drawers, which contributes to the elegant and modern style of the kitchen. The rustic shelving, doors and mantle are positioned to create a perfect sense of cozy – ideal for entertaining and relaxing.
Bold, chromatic purple greys are contrasted with chunky reclaimed oak, adding definition to each area of the kitchen. This definition highlights the flow of the kitchen and its appealing functional arrangement.
One of our favourite bespoke details at The Main Company is a kitchen island. For this kitchen, we combined a beautifully curved oak wood island with symmetrical granite. Textures are merged to form an eye-catching, balanced island for a relaxed dining experience.
Each element of the Bath kitchen is personalised to the homeowner’s unique sense of style. Our passion and craftsmanship promises to introduce authentic character and charm to your home.
