Brown leather bar stool around kitchen island

Bespoke Kitchen Project 24 - Cranleigh

The Main Company created this bespoke, industrial, contemporary kitchen for this young family in Surrey. This kitchen is the perfect combination of modern sleek and reclaimed engineered wood. In addition to the kitchen, The Main Company provided a home bar area, wine cellar, living room units, wardrobes and wall cladding.

Using the very best reclaimed materials to make this kitchen, The Main Company provided a reclaimed engineered mill board on the bar worktop that is also the material used for the multiple shelving units which surround this modern space. The dark aged zinc makes a striking feature as the splash back to the stylish cooker, offering an area with plenty of room to cook away.

The French Grey Little Greene paint is a lovely light chromatic grey, combined with their Lamp Black paint, it creates a fabulous contrast within this kitchen and dining area. The feature wall, made up of Main Company reclaimed cladding, makes a fantastic feature on the rear wall of the interior – a nice little reclaimed snug area by the wood burning stove. A Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer is fitted within a stainless steel surround so it sits flush within the light painted cabinetry – creating a sleek, bespoke look.

The bar area is an exciting addition to this interior, made up of a reclaimed pine bar top, combined with quartz and dark painted cabinetry. The innovative shelving is arranged like brickwork, looking super stylish with the cocktail utensils, spirits and glasses – such an exciting space to entertain and show off your cocktail making skills!

Sufficient storage is considered in every detail of the kitchen, from hidden cupboards for storing away cooking oils to a home bar unit and pantry built into the cabinetry. The expanse of the room and bespoke details ensures this project provides the ultimate entertaining space, where family and friends can gather together.
