Bespoke Kitchen Project 37 – Tonbridge

Set in 4 acres of land, this stunning new build has been a labour of love for the homeowners. Offering views across the breathtaking Tonbridge Valley, this home has been 4 years in the making and the end result is outstanding.

The beautiful property is modern take on local agricultural and industrial buildings, something that runs throughout the property, from Victorian brick to corrugated iron, there’s countless stand-out features throughout.

With this in mind, The Main Company and homeowners worked together tirelessly to create a kitchen, which would, not only be a wonderful space for the family to be together, but also incorporate the Victorian style design features they love.

The kitchen space has plenty of room for the entire family and much-loved family dog too. The room incorporates rich, emerald tones that work perfectly with the warm herringbone floor. The Victorian styling is further enhanced by industrial style touches like the Crittal style doors.

Here at The Main Company, we love dark, bold kitchens. The off-black cabinetry works perfectly in the space and has been finished with Buster + Punch handles and dark worktops. The upper cabinets are fluted glass fronted, adding depth and character to the space. Throughout the kitchen, there are splashes of aged brass, the aged brass has been used on the larder unit and under the island, tying together the space beautifully and adding a touch of luxe. The homeowners selected a Falmec extractor hood, as this worked with the industrial look they wanted to achieve.

One of the standout features in this kitchen is the Green Victorian wall tiles. The homeowner took inspiration for these from a Chateau in the South of France and had to search long and hard to find similar. They pull together the brass, black, brick and woods used throughout the room, creating a truly marvellous result.

At The Main Company we are passionate about creating bespoke kitchens from high-quality materials that will last for years to come. It’s also important that the kitchens are functional and can be enjoyed, as the kitchen truly is the heart of any home. All of our kitchens are designed with our customers, before being created at our Yorkshire workshop, using the highest quality reclaimed materials.
