The feel of a member’s bar, without the membership. This was the brief that Archer Street supplied for us. Archer Street, Battersea is the newest addition to South West London. The experiential bar is perfect for Londoners looking for a fun night of expertly crafted cocktails and dancing on the tables. The bar spans over two floors, the first is a cocktail bar and then on the lower ground floor, there is themed bar.
When it came to the design and ambience of the themed bar, inspiration was taken in bucket loads from Après-Ski type environments. Think rustic, textured woods paired with faux furs, sheepskins and leathers. We wanted to bring the aesthetics and exclusive feel of the slopes to central London.
No task is too large for our team and our Designer and Project Manager worked with the client to envisage and create the perfect alpine-style environment. The timber-clad chalet style bar offers a cosy and welcoming retreat, the perfect space to sip a glass of wine or treat yourself to an Aperol Spritz after a busy day at work.
Silver Barn Board Cladding was the perfect addition to this space, the combination of the sun and rain has created a wonderful weathered structure which has striking silver and grey colouration, perfect for the ambience of the space. The wood has been sourced from agricultural buildings throughout Europe, and each board is oozing with charm and character. The planks are also textured with a natural finish, further adding to the rustic feel of the surroundings. The Silver Barn Board has been perfectly paired with focal areas featuring our Engineered Distressed Oak cladding which has been hand-crafted to create the desired look.
The look is finished with our Distressed Smoked Brown Engineered Flooring, adding warmth to the space and providing a durable surface for Archer Street.
