Kitchen: (noun) – a gathering place for family and friends – a place where memories are made and seasoned with love.
A kitchen should bring together everything you love and be a space where you can enjoy, relax and entertain, and that is exactly what this West Sussex kitchen offers. Embarking on a kitchen transformation can be a large task and The Main Company is here to make it easier for you. Designed with the homeowner’s passions, taste, and location in mind, this outstanding kitchen frames, and blends seamlessly into the stunning coastline that can be found through the commanding bi-folding doors.
Flooded with natural light, this coastal-style kitchen is the perfect blend of classic and modern and suits the space perfectly. This relaxed kitchen comprises everything you would expect from the popular beach-house style aesthetic; cladding, rope, blues, and beiges, you know you’re right by the sea, and with the open-plan living space you can enjoy both the indoors and the outdoors.
For the cabinets, the homeowners chose an understated and simple shaker style, the classic styling of the cabinets was further enhanced by an on-trend splash of Reclaimed Barn Oak that can be found on a selection of cupboards and on the kitchen island. The Reclaimed Barn Oak really intensified the Farrow & Ball Hague blue cabinetry, and the weathered and silvery tones were further added to some more with the addition of Farrow & Ball Dimpse cladding. The imposing cabinetry has been topped with Caesarstone Organic White and hammered ball knobs and cup handles complete the look and adds to the coastal feel of the space. An array of cupboards styles feature in this kitchen, from larder-style cupboards to drawers, the space has been well-thought-out to offer practical storage and maximise the space available. Classic in style but with modern living in mind, the homeowners changed the hob from a Neff to V-Zug and a Franke Fuji tap, complete with a pull-out head.
For the flooring, the homeowners wanted something that complemented the Reclaimed Barn Oak cabinets and accents, so they stood out and didn’t run from one to the other. Our Mountain Ridge was the perfect candidate, creating a heavenly and relaxed space that will be enjoyed for years and years to come.
