Located in an area of outstanding beauty, this Dorking home offers the perfect family space, in a much sought after area.
Here at The Main Company, we work tirelessly with our customers to ensure that we design a kitchen that meets all their needs, and one that not only looks good, but is functional too. The homeowners wanted to make the most of the available space, maintaining a spacious, open feel with plenty of room for their children and also, any guests.
We absolutely love the end result and think this kitchen is truly stunning. Each and every element was designed around the homeowners needs, even down to the layout of each drawer and unit, making bespoke inserts for cutlery, knives, place mats, spice jars and more!
As you may have noticed there are no upper cabinets, simply the lower cabinets and stunning tall units. The handless tall units offer a contemporary twist on this otherwise traditional shaker style kitchen. Created using high quality French Oak, the homeowners wanted to ensure there was ample storage, whilst also creating a feature wall and we think this does just that. The handless cupboards offer a sleek and streamline design and also incorporate shelving for crockery, space for the microwave and an integrated fridge freezer too.
The French Oak used for the tall units beautifully complements the navy Little Greene Company paint, and great attention has been paid to finishing touches, with quartz shelving and splash back, brass brackets and also matching socket covers to tie the look together. The room has been finished with concrete effect floor tiles that contrast the navy, French Oak and quartz perfectly.
A kitchen island pulls the room together, adding even more storage and a breakfast bar seating area. There’s also plenty of room for a dining table, something that was especially important to the homeowners. The finishing touches added by the homeowners really bring the look together, from the stylish glass pendants to the hand soap in the utility area, every little detail has been considered.
All of our outstanding kitchens are handmade at our family-run Yorkshire workshop, using hand sourced, high quality and durable materials. Our on-site designers are also part of each stage, ensuring that your vision is brought to reality. Get in touch today to see how we can help you.
