Light brown leather bar stools under distressed reclaimed white wash timber wood breakfast bar

Bespoke Kitchen Project 13 - Berkshire

Welcome to this beautiful Scandi-inspired kitchen. The Berkshire project aims to reflect the homeowner’s unique sense of style by effortlessly combining timeless kitchen cabinets with rustic wood textures and industrial-inspired stainless steel.

Dramatically dark in-frame oak drawers and cupboards contrast the white walls and pale stone flooring of the rest of the room, with pewter fixings and reclaimed wood adding a sense of age to the modern space. The natural texture of the reclaimed breakfast bar provides a central feature for the room, as well as the perfect place for the family to enjoy meals together. This breakfast bar creates a divide between the living area and the kitchen to this open-plan home. It is designed perfectly to slot stools in neatly below – avoiding any hazards when not in use.

Bespoke individual details are included throughout this stunning space, from the custom-built gin rack to rustic chopping board storage pockets and a floor to ceiling larder complete with downlight and additional worktop space. These details are little bits of quirkiness that are created by getting to know and understand our homeowner’s personality and needs.

Combining mixed materials such as a stainless steel preparation area and copper accessories provides relief from the predominance of wooden worktops and helps to give Scandic style country kitchens a modern update. The unique brass geometric lights emphasise the contemporary feel of the bespoke kitchen.

This Scandi, industrial inspired kitchen is the perfect balance of rustic and modern, simple and unique. The rustic breakfast bar creates that extra unique touch that our kitchens feature, making our homeowner’s kitchen the most innovative space to cook, entertain or relax in. This personal touch is clear in each and every one of The Main Company’s projects, with custom-made details and authentic character at the forefront of every design.
