A standout design, this industrial style kitchen ticks many boxes. The perfect marriage of rustic and reclaimed materials, this extraordinary kitchen captures everything we are passionate about at The Main Company.
Exposed brick, concrete, metal and wood work alongside each other perfectly, creating a striking but functional kitchen space. This bright and airy living space, offered the perfect starting point for the kitchen area, the exposed beams and surroundings helped influence the style of kitchen. Not only does the kitchen look great, it’s also full of quirks and special features too.
Seamless and fluid, concrete is a growing trend within the interior world. It’s perfect for creating a focal point and luxury feel, but is also hardwearing, resilient and versatile, and when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.
Our designers worked with the homeowners to create this industrial, warehouse-influenced kitchen, incorporating plenty of storage but also designing a visually pleasing focal point to the overall space.
The reclaimed oak island features large drawers and also a seating area, perfect for entertaining or the perfect space for starting your day. Sat on a smooth and characterful concrete floor, the island has also been finished with a concrete work surface, adding to the industrial aesthetic. The Main Company also designed and fitted a superb concrete feature wall larder. The wall of cupboards and exposed shelving really adds the wow factor to the space and allows the homeowners to showcase items that really make their kitchen space a home. The bespoke feature wall also incorporates an oven and fridge freezer, as well as added rails on the side for tea towels. Great attention to detail has been paid at every stage of designing and even the extractor hood works perfectly within the space.
The cool tones of the chosen reclaimed oak work beautifully with the concrete and have been further enhanced by the addition of a blue feature wall in the living area. The kitchen has been finished off with some wire mesh fronted cabinets that work beautifully with the concrete and metal accents. Further adding to the luxurious feel of the space, the homeowners also have a stunning bar area, with a hanging area for glasses and top of the range wine cooler fridges. Exposed black pendant lights finish off the space, tying perfectly into other features like the Crittal style doors.
To date, this is one of our favourite finished kitchen projects. We just love how everything ties together seamlessly, creating a contemporary kitchen space but using an array of rustic and reclaimed materials. Our expert designers design everything, before the visions are brought to life by our master craftsmen at our family-run Yorkshire workshop.
