The Oyster Bar is a fabulous new food concept, offering a luxurious pop-up catering option for events. The Oyster Bar serves up mouth-watering oysters, paired with the finest of champagne and cocktails.
The Main Company was enlisted by Natalie to create a bar that incorporated her dreams and unique vision. Together, the visions soon came to fruition and this fabulous bar was created. The space was just perfect for serving up oysters and champagne and looked amazing too. A good bar brings people together and that is exactly what was created here. Obviously, not all events are the same, the people or the spaces. So, we created the bar using three separate sections, this not only made it easy to transport but it also makes it versatile and fully adaptable to each space and event.
The Wild Rock Oyster Bar is passionate about the environment and use only biodegradable and natural products with zero waste and plastics. For them, it was important to work with a company who share the same values. At The Main Company we are passionate about sustainable and reclaimed materials and salvage our products from disused buildings, giving them a new lease of life.
Our Grey Industrial Mill Board cladding was the ideal choice for the bar. The rustic and stripped paint effect coupled with original markings brought all these values together and the variety of tones throughout the wood ensures it will work in any space.
Salvaged from old textile mills, the planks of wood have been dried in our on-site kiln and restored and enhanced at our family-run workshop. The millboards have been cold pressed to birch plywood, creating a strong and stable material that would stand the test of time, at events, both indoors and outdoors. The stunning bar was finished off with an Aged Copper worktop, with the warm tones perfectly contrasting with the grey-flaked paint planks.
We are immensely proud of the finished product and can’t wait to try some delicious oysters and champagne at an event in the future!
