The stunning Fallow Tree House is part of a wider project. Fullerton Farm offers some of Hampshire’s best views and is home to four new tree houses, where you can stay and enjoy the surroundings. Each tree house has been individually designed, offering a different aesthetic and accommodation.
The Fallow Tree House has a warm and retro feel to it, thanks to the combination of colours and materials used. Orange kitchens are making a comeback, and this combines timeless classic design with modern and on-trend touches. Combined with the surrounding cladding and herringbone flooring, this orange kitchen adds warmth and depth to the tree house.
The shaker style kitchen has been finished using Little Greene Company paint in the shade Heat. Reclaimed oak upper cabinetry finishes the space, with open shelving and on-trend rattan fronted cupboards. A simple worktop and subway style tile finishes the space beautifully. An array of features adds a touch of luxury to this wonderful kitchen, from the Belfast style sink to plenty of space for wine from the surrounding vineyard.
The Poppy Tree House combines a variety of organic and natural materials; encapsulating everything we are passionate about here at The Main Company. Reclaimed pine and black accents have been used throughout the tree house, and helped form the inspiration for the kitchen space.
Black isn’t the first colour that often comes to mind when you’re designing your bespoke kitchen, but it’s one that is becoming increasingly popular. A black kitchen can really elevate a space and make a statement.
For the Poppy Tree House, we paired the Lamp Black kitchen cabinetry with aged copper, creating a striking contrast. The tongue and groove style cabinets have been topped with aged copper, this is perfect for the holiday home as it will only get better and better with age and is very durable. For the upper cabinets, we used reclaimed pine to create a glass fronted double cupboard and storage for crockery, which helps create a relaxing and laidback feel. A hanging rail also helps add further storage for utensils and pots and pans, and a stunning copper sink finishes the space beautifully.
A modern masterpiece, the Damesfly Tree House offers luxury living in the wild. The pared back colour palette and combination of natural materials provide a real sense of nature, whilst boasting many luxurious features.
Imagine rustling up a lovely dinner in the stunning kitchen, then watching the sunset from the copper bath on the balcony, perfection! The Damesfly Tree House offers a more Scandinavian style, with much cooler tones used throughout. As with the other tree houses, the walls have all been cladded creating a rustic feel.
The beautiful L shaped kitchen offers plenty of storage space for your stay, and has been created from reclaimed oak, and topped with a thin concrete worktop. Thin handles have also been used, ensuring the focus is on the outstanding character of the oak. Small mosaic styles lead up to the upper cabinets, which have been finished in a classic but on-trend green, with exposed oak shelving and glass fronts.
Sleek and elegant, the Perigold Tree House offers stylish Scandinavian living space for you to enjoy throughout your stay. Unlike the other tree houses the cladding used is much cooler in colour, with more of a grey undertone. The space has been finished with black accents and is simplistic, yet incredibly stylish.
As with the other tree houses, The Main Company has designed and fitted an L shaped kitchen. Clean lines and handless cabinets offer a sleek and modern aesthetic. The cabinets have been finished using Little Greene Company Lamp Black, and topped with a thin reclaimed oak worktop. An open shelf has been used in the place of upper cabinets, adding to the modern and minimalist style of the space. In order to maximise worktop space, a small black basin has been installed, tying together the kitchen perfectly.
