Nordic Oak Dining Table
The Nordic Oak Dining Table was designed by our in-house design team and crafted in our Yorkshire workshops. The table showcases a mixture of natural French oak and engineered reclaimed oak. Traditionally made with contemporary lines using master craftsmanship and a respectful approach to authentic materials.
Matching benches were also crafted to offer a rustic yet modern aesthetic. The simple clean-lined structures ensure stability without compromising that classic aesthetic, the combination offers young and old relaxed dining and entertaining.
Design & Manufacture
When designing a dining table it’s important to think about practicality as well as aesthetics. Our in-house design team listens carefully to your requirements in order to provide you with the best possible configuration. In the CAD design above, the simple design tweak to add extending rails gave our customer that extra length needed at Christmas time.
Our Reclaimed Oak
You’ll notice that many of our dining table designs include reclaimed wood. Depending on the style and size of your table we are able to offer both solid and engineered tabletops. Above is an engineered example, a birch plywood core that’s been cold-pressed with reclaimed oak. This is supported with a solid French oak table base.
Open Plan Living
Open-plan living is a signature style choice for the modern home, helping make our homes feel more sociable and inclusive. The past 18 months have made this open-plan living need to be more adaptable, dining tables are now office spaces. The layout of our homes needs to be more fluid than ever while not compromising style.
Country Homes & Interiors Feature
This month our North Yorkshire kitchen project was featured in Country Homes and Interiors. An 18th-century barn has been fully renovated, creating a beautiful family home. The perfect combination of old meets new; the barn has been sympathetically transformed, adding modern touches whilst enhancing existing features such as exposed beams and brickwork. Without a doubt, the most popular element in the design was our Nordic Oak Dining Table and Benches.
