Grey Moss and Clean Oak
After ten years of dreaming and planning, the owners of this five-bedroom house in Surrey finally got the chance to transform their Edwardian home into the house of their dreams, complete with a bespoke kitchen.
From the layout to the finishes, the owner had a vision of the kitchen she wanted to create and we helped make her plans a reality. The kitchen exudes a cosy, relaxed feel with contemporary touches and innovative features, perfect for busy family life. From a stylish coffee bar, the perfect space for the owner to sip her morning coffee, to the stunning butler sink overlooking the outdoor space, each feature of the kitchen was designed to suit the family’s needs.
“The Main Company convinced me that floating oak shelves wouldn’t look out of place in the kitchen and I am really happy with how they look against an original brick wall — it’s now my beloved ‘coffee station’!” Lesia Scholey, Owner
From touches of reclaimed wood to the quartzite work surfaces and hints of brass, all tied together with Little Greene’s Grey Moss paint, the kitchen’s colours and textures work seamlessly together to create a country kitchen space with a contemporary feel. The use of the reclaimed wood is also complemented by the inclusion of a stunning wooden kitchen table and chairs, creating the perfect space for the family to sit, eat and relax after a long day.
To ensure the main kitchen and the boot room were unified in style, the same materials were used throughout the project with bespoke details introduced, including the custom shelving units created to hide away everyday kitchen accessories! An essential to every home, the inclusion of a mug drawer was built into the kitchen cabinetry, providing the perfect place to keep the owners collection of coffee cups organised. The Weybridge kitchen is a wonderful example of style and practicality, with every element carefully considered to coordinate and blend seamlessly with the rest of the home.
