If you’re looking to add some vibrancy to your home, a pop of colour in the kitchen can make all the difference. Our recent project in Shepherd’s Bush perfectly demonstrates this.
Our clients had a modern home, and they wanted their kitchen to reflect their style while also being functional. They requested a bold colour scheme, and after some discussion, we decided on a combination of bright blue and orange. The blue would serve as the primary colour, while the orange would add a pop of fun and energy to the space. The cabinets have been finished in a bespoke colour mixed and produced by the Little Greene Paint Company.
To complement the colours, we opted for brass accents throughout the kitchen, including the countertop. The brass adds warmth and sophistication to the space, and it complements the blue and orange perfectly. One of the standout features of the kitchen is the island, which provides seating and storage space. The island’s blue cabinets match the rest of the kitchen, while the brass accents tie everything together. The island’s countertop is also made of brass, making it a focal point of the space.
When it came to choosing appliances, we opted for a classic piece from Lacanche for the cooking range in the colour “mandarin”. The range has a timeless design that works well with the modern style of the kitchen. The range’s bright finish matches the bright window frames, tying everything together. For the backsplash we used white Victoria metro wall tiles which helped create the perfect backdrop for the bright cooking range!
Overall, we are thrilled with how this kitchen turned out. The bold colour scheme adds a playful touch to the space, while the brass accents and classic appliances give it a timeless feel. Our clients were delighted with the finished product, and we’re confident that this kitchen will be a beloved part of their home for years to come.
