Traditional by Main – Our Painted Furniture Collection

Over our 40+ years of trading we’ve manufactured thousands of pieces of painted furniture, often reproduced from the design and proportions of an antique piece. From this experience we’ve created a collection range of 41 items, all designed to be painted freestanding furniture. Whether it’s storage for the bedroom, or a display cabinet for the living room, there will be a painted piece of furniture to suit your needs.

The furniture is crafted using solid pine for its internals and has a traditional painted shaker exterior lending itself beautifully to many interior styles, from traditional homes to new builds. All of our Traditional by Main furniture has been built in our Yorkshire workshops and is supplied fully built, so you know it will last for many years to come. Every detail and finish has been considered, from soft closer runners on drawers, to the stunning hammered pewter ball knobs. 

What are my painted furniture options?

All our Traditional by Main furniture is hand painted, the colour bespoke to the order. Select one of four exciting Little Greene colours: Slaked Lime (105), French Grey (113), Dark Lead (118), or Tea With Florence (310). If your painted piece has exposed timber you are also able to select your timber finish: Reclaimed Pine or French Oak. 

Can my painted furniture be to specific dimensions?

To be more competently competitively priced all our Traditional by Main furniture is manufactured to specific dimensions. If your space requires something more bespoke we can certainly accommodate this. Just get in touch and our sales team can quote based on your dimensions.
