Reclaimed Original Sawn Factory Grey Heritage Oak has a weathered sawn structured surface.
The subtle grey tones run throughout this beautiful reclaimed oak, each board having its own
unique weathered beaten characteristics. Hand rolled edges soften the appearance of the ends
and long edges and even a newly laid floor shows wear marks of a century. This reclaimed oak
floor will complement a huge amount of commercial and living environments.
The Original Sawn Factory Grey Heritage Oak has been crafted by nature. This reclaimed oak is
typically between 80 and 120 years old and is full of character and history. Such characteristic as
original peg fixings holding the building walls together. Dark oxidisation tannin streaks from water
water which has ingress through original cracks. We have even found the odd stray bullet when
processing the timber which would have gone astray during a hunt!
These reclaimed floorboards have been meticulously processed from the oak slabs. The oak is
sawn into lamellas, kilned dried and pressed onto birch plywood making the boards very stable
and suitable for underfloor heating.
This is a reclaimed oak floor due to this all of this range will have tonal difference from plank to
plank and batch to batch. Each floor will be unique and have different characteristic throughout
such as original peg holes, knots, tannin stains, worm holes, circular and band saw marks. The
