With restaurants across Birmingham and London, Tonkotsu put their heart and soul into making sure each and every bowl of ramen that leaves their kitchen, will rock your world. They believe that there is no experience more fulfilling than serving their modern ramen, in their unique and stunning restaurants.
We, at The Main Company, were delighted to be chosen to supply materials for use within the new Shoreditch location. Our Reclaimed Linen Grey Mill Board was the perfect choice to sit alongside the quirky interior of the modern Japanese restaurant. We are renowned for our expertise and high-quality materials, which is why we are supplier of choice for many interior designers. We work alongside designers, to help bring their visions to reality.
Our Reclaimed Linen Grey Mill Board was the perfect choice for the cladding within the Shoreditch restaurant, this was used on the walls and also to create bespoke seating booths. A different wood was used as an overlay, creating a unique panel effect that tied in the unique design of the restaurant. The perfect combination of old meets new, the red interiors paired with the rustic wood, capture traditional Japanese style perfectly, whilst giving it a modern twist.
Our Reclaimed Linen Grey Mill Board is a highly sought-after shade. Originating from Northern Roof Spars, the wood has been beautifully weathered, creating a sandy, grey shade with a stunning patina. Each and every plank has been beautifully hand-finished at our workshop, between the spa town of Harrogate and historic city of York. Each piece is dried to the perfect moisture content in our on-site kiln and supplied to specification.
It is always wonderful to see how our wood is used, whether that’s as flooring, cladding and other creative projects.
