Bespoke kitchen with black Lacanche range cooker

Bespoke Kitchen Project 48 – Bracklesham Bay

Set in the impressive surroundings of Bracklesham Bay, this newly built and modern home sits close by attractive shingle-covered and fossil laden beaches. The modern home has been meticulously designed and offers a stylish and practical living space.

Flooded with natural light, Penny, the homeowner didn’t want to just create a standard new-build property. It was important the home was sustainable and future-proof and had many quirks and features. Thanks to the impressive coastal views, the property was laid out in an upside-down formation, so that the commanding views could be enjoyed day in, day out from the living spaces. The well-appointed home has many personal touches, from the library area that reminds the homeowner of days gone by, to the timeless dining chairs gifted from parents back in the 1990s, this property is simply sublime.

The Main Company were delighted to design and fit the kitchen in this beautiful home. A bespoke kitchen was the perfect choice due to the challenges that the deep gable roof presented, and this was something we were delighted to help with. Everything was considered at every stage of planning and we made sure that we made the most of every inch of space.

Working with Penny, a traditional kitchen was chosen, but one that complemented the contemporary design of the house and met the original goals of being both sustainable and future-proof. The solid wood cupboards were finished in the popular Little Greene Company shade Basalt, which really tied in to the interiors, black accents and contrasted the surroundings to create a real stand-out space. The kitchen was finished with a CRL Stone QZ127 Verona worktop, finishing the look. When designing the kitchen, lighting was really important and we managed to design the floating oak shelving with integrated lighting. Another eye-catching feature was the Lacanche Macon Range Cooker that matched the kitchen seamlessly.

The end result is this impressive open-plan living space, one that the homeowner thoroughly enjoys spending time in. All of our kitchen projects are designed bespoke to your needs, allowing you to really make sure that it not only suits your space, but has all the features that you need too. You can be sure that we only choose the very best materials, making your kitchen a fantastic investment that can be enjoyed for many, many years.
