Rustic reclaimed oak drawer fronts with painted grey little green frames on this bespoke kitchen island

Bespoke Kitchen Project 9 - Nordon

A kitchen with the wow factor, this one-of-a-kind kitchen is guaranteed to make a statement. The kitchen perfectly captures the owner’s penchant for style and is both flamboyant and functional.

Working with the homeowners, we wanted to ensure that the reclaimed wood cabinetry complemented the standout wallpaper and that the space was used to its full potential. The space we had to work with was unique and we incorporated some interesting features such as an inset oven and long, narrow island to name a few.

Here at The Main Company, we handcrafted the Belgium black oak cabinetry and finished it with finesse pewter handles and a river valley granite that pulled in the colours of the wallpaper, creating a sophisticated and opulent feel. We used a variety of cabinetry to provide ample storage for the homeowners, including drawers and pantry style cupboards. The homeowners opted for an individual colour palette, incorporating neutral tones and the exposed, reclaimed wood.

The kitchen also features a 1500 Lancanche cooker that, not only looks great and provides a focal point, but also makes the space ideal for entertaining and cooking for guests. The overall look was completed by warm copper accents including the hammered copper sink and accessories.

At The Main Company we pride ourselves on delivering the best for our customers space, to the highest of standards. We salvage each and every piece of wood you will find in a Main Company Kitchen, from an array of interesting buildings. All kitchens are handcrafted by our master craftsmen at our family-run, Yorkshire workshop, before being transported and fitted. As well as our unrivalled kitchens, we can also assist with flooring, cladding, furniture, and much more. Get in touch today and see how The Main Company can help you achieve your desired look.
