The Main Company supplied the homeowners with our Reclaimed Pinewood Studio Douglas Fir and this was used throughout the multiple bedrooms and dressing room in the property. The reclaimed wood adds both warmth and a rustic feel to any given space. Our Reclaimed Pinewood Studio Douglas Fir complements the interior style of this property to a tee, paired with stunning metal features like the spiral staircase and retro-style radiators and with the addition of the traditional style furniture, the flooring is really brought to life.
The rich, warm wood oozes character, from the deep tones of the patina to original markings and knots; this really is a truly stunning wood. The beauty of reclaimed wood is that no two planks are the same and in each room, although the tones of the wood are the same, the patina and markings are completely different. The planks have been supplied in a slightly wider width; emphasizing the space available whilst also giving the illusion they’ve always been there and were part of the original building.
This outstanding wood has been salvaged from the famous Pinewood Studios, providing a great talking point for any visitors. Our master craftsmen work tirelessly at our Yorkshire workshop to create the highest quality and longest-lasting planks, removing excess moisture and enhancing natural colorations and abrasions. The wood is then treated, creating a stable and durable product, ideal for areas with heavy footfall.
