The tall ceilings and original stone walls were carefully incorporated into the design, serving as a canvas upon which the modern kitchen could be masterfully woven. The shaker style, known for its timeless elegance and simplicity, was a perfect choice for this historic setting. We painted the cabinets in a hue that adds a dash of contemporary charm to the space. The soft blush tone complements the natural textures of the stone walls, bringing warmth and character to the room. Every element in this bespoke kitchen was chosen with meticulous attention to detail. The lustrous brass accents add a touch of opulence while harmonizing with the vintage appeal of the stone walls, striking the perfect balance between classic and modern aesthetics.

At the heart of the kitchen stands a magnificent island, a true focal point that draws guests and family together. The island’s design caters to both social gatherings and functional needs, featuring seating on either side. On one end, high stools provide a casual dining spot, ideal for quick breakfasts or afternoon chats. On the other end, a retro booth-style seating arrangement evokes a sense of nostalgia and intimacy, inviting hours of heartfelt conversations over delicious meals.

To accentuate the grandeur of the tall ceilings and illuminate the island, the kitchen is adorned with exquisite light fixtures. The carefully curated pieces hang gracefully from the ceiling, casting a warm glow that enhances the kitchen’s ambiance.Â

Our dedication to this project extended beyond the kitchen space. We also supplied our Reclaimed Old White Mill Board for the cladding and Antique Smokehouse Parquet Flooring for the rooms above, ensuring a seamless transition throughout the historic home.
